Graphic Designer, Illustrator and Director Audiovisual
Raupa is a 2005 graduate of Institute of Design (ISDI). He taught Illustration, Motion Design and Poster Design at ISDI from 2005-2009.
At the age 26 (in 2006) Raupa was a leading designer and visual artist. He was called by La Casa de las Americas to undertake part of their audiovisual messages and two years later assumed the full visual artwork of this institution.
A few years after his graduation from ISDI, Raupa held a solo exhibition at the Centre for Development of Visual Arts in Cuba, on the Spots of public good. The expo was titled “SPOTSICION”, and was a presentation of more than 20 original visual works.
Raupa works today as an independent artist and is responsible for images of events and institutions of great importance in the Cuban culture. His work has been profiled between two fields: graphic design and film “motion graphics”, both worked from the language of illustration, animation and video respectively.
Credit has created titles for Cuban films as Penumbras, 2011, The Broken Gods, 2007, Kangamba, 2007 and BEHAVOIR 2013, and for the music program on Cuban television Floor 6.
He has performed solo and group exhibitions in different events such as:

Raupa speaks on topics of motion design in Cuba (Institute of Design, 2010) and has recently spoken at the University of South Florida (Tampa, U.S.), and the Public Library of the campus of Yale University (New Haven, U.S.).
